Another Dry Year???

We are west of Kansas City, MO about 30 miles and have not had more than 1/2 inch of moisture at a given time for probably 6 months. It is dry as can be here, mowed what there is of our yard today for the first time this year and have grass dying from lack of moisture already. Crops here last year were very poor, looks like an even dryer start to this year. At least a year ago we got spring moisture in excess. Isn't exactly an IH topic but may mean the end of some farming careers here if it doesn't rain.
