The early ball brg. main bearing engines were assembled with small wrenches so there was no overtorque possible. The main idea is to get all nuts tightened (torqued) the same. If you can get the bolt or stud diameter & type of thread (fine or course) I can check a SAE torque spec for that diameter & come up with a torque spec for you. The main thing is to not OVERTORQUE the stud but get them all the same. I cannot find any toruqe specs either for the 20 & 30 series engines in any of my material.
