The 300 u seems to work just fine until it gets under heavy load, plowing snow or cultivating. If I pull out the choke it will continue to run but misses alot. Gets me home though. If I shut the tractor off an wait an few minutes and restart the problem seems to go away until I work it hard again. Sometimes when I work it hard the problem doesn't devlop and other times it is a every 10 minute problem. I have checked fuel flow and am ok.rebuilt the carb ,but made no difference. I have readjusted all carb settings expecially the one requiring 5 turns for heavy work, doesn't make a difference. Can't figure out why if I shut it off for a couple of minutes and restart it is symptoms free for soemtimes the rest of the day? Thought maybe a sticky float? but it was doing the same thing before I replcaced the float. Pulling the choke out gets me the fuel I need but obvoiusly i don't want to continue with that approach.
