Saw your post earlier but didn't get a chance to respond, had the same problem with my 300u the knocking only happened with a load on the loader. Had a heck of a time finding it because the cap managed to stay in place, didn't find the problem till it wore through the oil pan, it put a little ding in the crank but no major damage. Just a couple of things that I thought you would want to know. Plus you might want to retorque the bolts in a couple of months. Thats is the weakest point on those tough little tractors I keep a close eye on mine every time I move hay or plow snow. Good luck!!
