Paul; After my initial experience with pepper on rad leaks, I always carried a can of pepper in truck. I travelled a lot of country roads that weren't the best some of them completely unihabited. Cell phones were not available back then, in fact in that same remote area cell services is still not the best. You carried a complete set of wrenches, two spare tires, some other spare parts and quick fixes. 20 miles is a long walk, especially in rain or 20 degrees below freezing.
