Yup, both him and his father didn't belive in it, of the 3 farmalls (53 M, 54 Super H, and 44 H none had fluid, all had weights on the 44 H (the only one I didn't buy), because of metal shortages in WWII he took two big (2" thick) gears off a IH manure spreader they were not using and bolted/strapped them to the hubs. They were still there Sat when the new owner drove it away to his farm about 10mi away.
