I bought a 450 gas the other day, had not run in 3 years, owner said that it ran rough so he parked it in a field. Some of you may have experienced the harsh summers in the Mississippi Delta, the rain in the spring and fall and the occasional cold weather in the winter. My father and I drained the fuel and put on a rebuilt carb, changed the coil, plugs and starter switch. Needless to say she fired up and ran great with great oil pressure and did not run hot. She is a cotton picker model with a Swartz wide front. Anyone with an IH wide front that wants to swap let me know. Sure was fun making another IH come back to life. Take that Deere!!! PHDM
