It is possible. It has been my experience that you can do tire changing yourself, but it seems to be more easily done by the better equiped people that do it for a living such as an on farm tire service guy. They ussually have equipment to handle fluid if the tires are fluid loaded. As George suggested, it would be a good time to clean up and paint the inside of rim before you put the tire on.
