Painting Grill Mesh

Should the mesh inside the grill on a Super C be painted? I think the answer is yes but thought I better check with the Pro's. Seems it would be best to paint the inside of the grill and the mesh before assembly to get the best coverage although I'm sure IH didn'nt go to that much trouble. Thanks
