If it is HyTran or similar tractor fluid, you will be fine. My IH dealer even told me to use Hytran in the transmissions of these old tractors. I've used the 80-90W in most of mine, but I do have the Hytran in my MD and it works great.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
