If the splined shaft and matching yoke at front of steering shafting into the bolster under the radiator is worn, (and they do get loose) we would drill a hole through the yoke and shaft and get a spirol roll pin and drive in, the shaft is a major part (this means high $), sometimes just the yoke will tighten it up but dont bet on it. Its a hard shaft so dont try a cheap drill bit.
