Joop: To answer your question a little more fully, the European built Farmall and IH tractors did not come to North America until starting with the British built tractors about the mid 1950s. The German built tractors didn't come here until the late sixties or maybe even early seventies. Prior to those dates the North American lines were quite different in some cases. In others such as the Farmall M, SM, about all that was different was engine.
