Dan, I completed this overhaul on 3 IH tractors. 300 Farmall, 300 Utility and a 400 Farmall Diesel. The way I looked at It, I didn't want to do this again so I went with the sprague type over run clutch, new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing for both TA and main clutch plus new pilot bearing. I also replace all the seals with new ones. Its really not that difficult just time consuming. It cost me about $900 per tractor.
