Thanks Gary, Hugh and Lance. I'll take all the help and hints I can get. Taking the opportunity to rework the steering too while it's apart. Had a half turn of play before. Bearings look ok, but sector gear was loose on vertical shaft. Someone had already welded it on, but had come loose. Also gonna need a better steering wheel shaft, as mine is worn slam out at the worm.
