These belt pulley attachments have a bushing that slips on the shaft that the seal rides on. The original belt pulley holds it in plaace. When the belt pulley is not on the shaft IH had a pice of pipe that slid on the keep the bushing in place in the seal. If your add on pulley with your belly mower does not ride up against thebushing, you will need to cut a short picce of pipe to takeup the space.
