SAm, Sounds like you have the right idea, I assume your tractor is running, so it is basically timed, just loosen the clips(should be 2 of 'em) and adjust. i usally time it at idle, then mid RPM and then high, but usally if it is good at idle, she is good throughout. You can tell by the sound when she's right! Pete
