yes your distribitor has advance weight,s in it,wen fully advanced it should have like around 34 to 40 degrese total, use a ajustable timimg light to find out if it,s working.mark the crank pully at TDC then open throtle and advance dial on back of timing light to see were mark,s line up agin.then read back of timing light to see were you are.no if every thing is working right you should be able to yank the throtle open and motor should winde up very nicly.also make sure carb is set right , on the hi speed jet.check book to see were total advance is .
