Steve, Your Farmall A was not available with hydraulic lift. (The Super A was the first A series with hydraulic lift). Some A's did have a vacuum lift but oviously yours does not. The long lift handle you use to raise and lower your mower is what is used to raise and lower mounted implements on the A. IHC made a grader blade that could be mounted under the center of the tractor or out in front of the tractor. It was for both hydraulic lift and for manual lift. If you find one of these blades you will use the same lift handle that now lifts your mower. For rear mounted implements there is a rock shaft that is also controled by your lift handle. Harold H
