A lesson you must first learn about buying old/antique tractors, is if you are pleased with the price you paid that is all that matters. Everybody has a different view about what you should pay for whatever you purchase. I attend a lot of auctions and obviously must enjoy this "gambling", sometimes I am a winner and in my wife's words quite often buy junk. But I am happy with my junk. I for sure would have bought the tractor for the price you paid, you got a good deal. Cheers, Murray
