I am very familiar with the 826, as I have been raised with one, but for the uses I want an 826 for doesn't really give me opportunity to rent/borrow/use/buy the family tractor. One of my own would be hands down easier. We stuff our 826 in the back of one of our sheds for the winter, because we can start one of our 856's in 1-10 minutes, and it takes the 826 10-30 minutes to get going. I have a friend with a 706 I will use also, although I don't know which diesel engine it has. Thanks for the post, I will look up a diesel mechanic in that area to possibly look at the tractor for me before I travel there. Thanks again.
