If nothing was assembled incorrectly with the filter system then you can bleed the pump at an ORB plug on the rear facing surface of the MCV housing. I believe it takes a 5/8" wrench. Take the plug out and you can see the power steering orfice in the hole. Looks similar to a large carb jet. Crank the tractor, being ready to shut it off quick. When fluid comes out you are primed.
