I've got a 1,500W on my H-only takes about an hour to get it warm. If you plan on leaving it plugged in all night, go for a smaller one, but if you plan on plugging it in an hour or two before you use it, go for the biggest one you can get. The big ones will open the stat if its above zero & you leave them on too long. I've never had a problem with mine opening the stat if its below zero. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
