Options seemed to have been set and model changes minimal for the F and letter series Farmall's. However there was some variences from year to year. I myself was thinking it would be real interesting to know some of this info. Like, what year did rubber tires become an option? When did steal wheel's become no longer an option. What year did they go from factory cut out to voltage regulator? What were the changes from 39 to 40? What year did they go from tall oil filter to short? What year did the distributor become standard or was the mag always an option? What year did they change the casting of the top of steering column on the F-20? Maybe getting a little technical but I myself would like to know the actual year to year factory changes and what factory options were available for each year. Mainly for the H and F-20 but other models would be interesting as well. Doesn't seem to be a source for this info on this forum. Maybe it would be a good area to add to this forum. After doing much reading in this discussion forum, it seems as if this info would be intersting and usefull to many users of this forum. Especially to those who are restoring to factory origin. What do you all think? And by all means post what you know.
