just in case it is an aftermarket... mine has a vertical distributor made by delco--there's a small tag the prominently says "delco-remy" on it. those points are ez to find. they are the same as the ones in lots of tractors of the 40s and 50s. an IH distributor sits horizontal in this application. other aftermarket distributors may sit horizontal as well. you could have an IH distributor added as an afterthought, so it might be a different model than the H used as well.. good luck figurin out -karl
