Been there and done that, today I have 12 implements all with single point fast hitch fork. The problem with the adapter is that it just increases the distance between tractor and implement. That hitch has it's limits on lifting, and the closer to tractor you can get the implement the better. 2, 3, 4 or 5 inches is a long way for that hitch.
