If you are using the silver colored filter with the two rubber hoses and four spring clamps, (that's what I use) be sure you can blow through the filter before installing it. Some of the filters were made for gravity flow, and some are to be used with a fuel pump. I use the cheaper ones. I tried a more expensive filter, (WIX) and it will not work at all.
