First, I doube your tractor has a factory starter- there just doesn't seem to be such a critter. Heisler made a starter package complete with the bell housing. I'd love to be proved wrong on this one. Brake pedals were manditory for pneumatic wheel tractors after a certain date, which I don't remember. They were also available aftermarket from IH for older tractors. Are you sure the raod gear isn't Heisler as well? THese units were commonly available through catalogs in the late 1930s and 1940s.
