Hi, Mark. I saw your post on the N board and thought I would drop in here. I have a Farmall H and enjoy it for some special tasks like hayrides. It sits up higher so I can see both wagons full of people. The H (and I'm sure the M) used "pull" type or trailer equipment. The exceptions that I am familiar with are the cultivator and a semi-mount sickle (hay) mower. These worked off of the internal hydraulic pump that feeds three ports. For the cultivator, two ports feed the front gangs and the third port feeds the rear gang. The rear gang was a delayed lift so that it scratched the soil behind the tires to the end of the row. My current H has an external pump on the right side of the engine. It provides live hydraulics though I currently do not have any implements for it. It has hoses that feed back into the internal distribution system of three outlets and is controlled by the standard control lever. Hope that helps.
