I may be way off the map here, but we have two 856's and i thought that if I took out the bearing/swivel thing on the end it would work as a fast hitch. I know when I did have it off it looked exactly like the ones on a 460. I thought about seeing if the 460 fast hitch plow (a friend's) would fit in the 856 couplings, but I never got around to it. I may just do that this spring, just to see if it would work. Does anyone KNOW that the two will NOT interchange? We don't have any fast hitch equipment anymore, tractors skip from a Super M up to an 826, so it is all gone. I always thought it would work, and reading this post has me really pondering now. Thanks guys.
