Thanks for your input and I understand your comments completely... but, I do have a fairly good understanding of the machine and how the system transfers. Therefore, I've got the transfer lever in the correct position but she won't start. I am starting it on diesel with the starter. It starts pretty well with just a quick shot of ether. I was told not to pull these to start them for fear of breaking a tooth on the bull gear.
