I have my 300 fast hitch set up with a 3 point conversion. I'm sure I can raise my blade more than 12". I' will measure it and let you know. With my setup, there is more than enough travel for digging in, but I always have the pin removed so I don't have down pressure with the blade. And I have lifted the back of the tractor with the fast hitch to adjust wheel width.
