KellyC, I used to work for a company that explicity manufactures all types of off road clutch/brake packs. Dry and wet packs. The gear picture you have looks very similiar to some of the gears that they make. Here is an idea for you. You can get a gear blank made. They will have a mold that will produce a blank close to the size you require. They will sand it to your thickness specification and then send it to you. You then take it to a machine shop, and have the gears hobbed out of the blank. It can be done, and has been done forever. Let me know if you want a contact number. Probably the most expensive part would be having the gears hobbed which could be very negotiable if you can find a hobber.
