You might of seen more action out of the guy if you would of sold it to him and put a time line on it. For a guy you didn't know, you might of had him sign a simple contract. Then if he didn't have it done by the time line, he would of been out his money, and forced to forfeit any materials left on the premises. Selling the building to him would of possibly released you from liability of him getting hurt, and you could of hired some of the clean up work to be done with the his money if he didn't get it tore down and out of there on time. But I am sure you are getting some good building materials out of it that will well pay for your spare time your spending on it. You may well of made the right call to tear it down yourself. I believe I would of tore it down myself it were mine.
