My suggestion would be to get a kit for the carburetor. It should come with a diagram for the carburetor, along with new inside parts. It will also have a float gauge to set the float with.

If you do get a kit, take the number off of the exsisting carburetor if it has one, and take it with you. This will help to insure you get the correct kit. Over the years some carburetors get replaced with different ones, which may be different than the one that came with the tractor.

In my case, my H is came with a gasoline engine, but the carburetor that came with it is for a distillate engine.
