I have never split a 1206 but I found the easiest thing to do on most tractors is to take an hour or so and weld up a set of stands to fit. I split a large Massey ( 1130 ) and I drilled and bolted some oild heavy angle iron to the fron and back halves, the angle going straight down to the floor. Then welded some cross braces on the uprights and also ran a brace from the front of the tractor at an angle down to the bottom of the upright angle iron. This kept the stands from folding. I think I even tacked on a couple of old casters to the stand on the front end and after unbolting it just rolled it forward. It sounds involved but didn't take long at all. I had a lot of scrap steel around so had no cost in it. Trick is to bolt the braces to the tractor then weld them to each other. That way is quickest and you know they will fit. Good Luck! YC
