I have more damages caused by the county grader than the kids, althought they come in second. The county feels they can widen the road at any expense, even my fence. About a year ago they ripped some posts out for me. When approached the county said my fence was in their "easement". I asked them to prove it, and they could not, as I have the deeds to the road, and they have no written easement. It was one of those old handshake agreements. I then asked them to replace the fence, which I got. Funny thing is they never ask so I never give especially with the attitude, and lack of respect for landowners they have.
