I don't think I've ever seen them used to dual a Cub, but when I talked to an old vegetable farmer here he told me that you should never use them without some sort of stiffening brace from one final drive to the other. He said they tried it without a brace and broke the axle housing because of the added leverage. They mounted a sprayer on theirs with about a hundred gallon tank, you might be able to get away with it if you don't have a mounted load like that, but it's easy and cheap enough to fab up a brace.
