The slush rad means its on the verge of freezing up. What has likely happened is that even though you mixed 50/50( which should be good ) there was enough weaker anti freeze in the rad and block to give you an overall weak mixture. We usually drain a rad and add pure anti freeze, then run the vehicle and check with a guage, then we can use 50/50 to top up and we'll get protection to -40 - -60. Run the tractor and drain out a gallon or so and add a gallon of pure anti freeze then test it. Good luck ..Mike in Exeter Ontario
