Do your lights work? IF they do, what happens to the lights when you hit the starter button? Do they dim drastically? I know there is a fuse on the dash, but I don't recall whether it is in the starter circuit or not. Might confirm that it is okay. Lastly, you can easily bypass the ignition key/starter button, by shorting across from the hot stud to the starter stud, located beneath the fuel tank. If you do this, be sure the tractor is in neutral. I had to start mine using this method when I first got it, and I've forgotten where I finally located my electrical problem. I'd only do the "jumper" to determine whether the batteries were good and the starter free. There is a lot of moisture present when plowing snow and with the hot engine, water can get into strange places. Good luck.
