Most auto parts stores sell carburetor cleaner that comes in a gallon can and includes a parts strainer. It will last for a long time if you keep it closed. You'll need that to properly soak your carburetor, which should be taken apart before soaking it.

I would suggest that you also purchase a carburetor kit for the model carburetor that you have. It comes with directions and a diagram. Plus it will have the little screens, needle valves, steel balls, gaskets and a float-gauge to properly set your float. Some of those small parts will wear over the years and no matter how much you clean them, they will still be worn and not work properly.
