John, I won't touch the electrical problem becuse I detest 12v conversions; a well maintained original 6v system will be less problematic. As for the pulsing problem; like they said, verify that your float is set correctly 1st, if so, check the adjustment on top front of the governor. I chased this problem recently after I rebuilt my Super C carb, turns out the bumper spring was corroded and weak, and with the proper fuel flow, it mattered. Pete
