I just put a clutch in my M it would not release but that was wore out throwout bearing can clutch fingers if yours are new that isn't your problem but when I put mine back together I had to set the linkage so I only have 1\2 in. free travel the clutch pedel pivot bushing on the bottom is wore the pedel stop on the bottom is hitting the brake housing before it releases check the pedel for sideway play because they wear out worse on the inside because of being pushed on from an angle.
