Make sure it is a later production 5488, earlier ones had an update for the trans. Early one will have rotary pump all the rest got an inline. Micro switches under the cab are the thing needs fixin on these, either dead, needin adjustment or plugs cleaned. If it overheats easy pull the radiator and have it cleaned, in hot weather take the side doors off and store carefully in the shed, helps keep temps down.
Our 1586 kept ruining its brakes.
