Clutch replacement is no big deal, as long as you have the proper equipment to support the engine and rear end. I replaced mine last fall and I think the kit cost around $135 from PowerBilt. While you have the tractor split, consider replacing the flywheel ring gear if worn or if the starter is grinding. They only cost about $20 from your IH dealer.
