Need Avice On Main Bearing Problem. Help Please!

I usually go on the Cub.com board but it looks like it's having problems. All my posts and replies from last night are gone! Pulled the middle main on my Cub and there are some nasty wear marks on the side lip of the bearing where it goes around the cap (not where the journal runs). It's been a rubbin on the crank. Last night I did get a post that this is common for a Cub from clutch pressure. How can I check it out to be sure it's not a bigger problem? Thanks. Where's George Willer when you need him!
