Before reading the postings here (and let me tell you there is alot of great info here) I had never heard of a rotary cutter being referred to as a bush hog. Didn't know it was a brand name either. I imagine the manufacturers of the Bush Hog would prefer that we said " I own a Bush Hog brand rotary cutter". They can be kind of funny about protecting their brand names. My own pet peeve is when people say little league to refer to any type of youth base ball. Little League is a brand name also.
