I think it should take at least a year to rebuild an H. Each part should be handled with loving and care, individually. Each and every bolt, nut, lockwasher, and other piece should be wire brushed, primed, and painted individually. The longer you take, the less time you have to spend in the therapy that costs $100 no matter what. Restoring is for fun and therapy, not to see how fast you can get it done. Sometimes I go too fast and wish I could go back and do it over and enjoy the process more - but then again, sometimes Dad wants the garage cleaned out to put the car in too.
