Bryan,There's a tapered bolt called a driver pin
that you can see goes crossways near the end of the center shaft.Remove that pin and the driver assembly will lift off.Behind that assembly there's a large brass packing nut(right in the center of the fan) If packing is pretty good just tightening the packing nut stops the leak.If not remove the packing nut,replace the packing and then reinstall the packing nut,the driver assembly and the driver pin.The pin is tapered and fits a slot on the shaft and will only go one way.Sure hope this helps,Chris.
