I guess if you make a self operating trailor mounted backhoe, you could hook it up behind any tractor. Or even your pick-up. Don't see the specific use of the cub myself other than moving dirt with the loader. Just about anything could do the cubs job of manuevering the trailor around. A good snow blade on the front of a 4 wheel drive pick-up would backfill just as much if not more dirt than the cub. And if you had to move the dirt you could load it on to something using the backhoe. I think the use of the cub in this situation could easily be eliminated. No need to have extra equipment.
