You must be the same okla/kans Bll that posted very simular post currently partway down on page three. (will move downward and onto other pages over time). Don't know if you have read the re-posts at that location, but there is some good info there on your heating problem and possible hydraulics. As for your putting a rubber seal on your radiator cap, it will only aid in the coolant splashing out, or overflowing when overheating, but is highly doubtful the cuase of it overheating. I am not sure but I think the coolant system is a non presurized system. No knowlegde here on the decal.
